Berlin, May 15, 2008 – At the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of Beta
Systems Software AG (BSS, ISIN DE0005224406), which took place on May 14, 2008, in Berlin, the
Management Board and the Supervisory Board were discharged with regard to the fiscal year 2007.
KPMG Deutsche Treuhand-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, Berlin, was
mandated as independent auditor for the fiscal year 2008.
The draft resolution put forward by the Administration authorizing the Management Board to
purchase and use the own (treasury) shares, as well as for creating New Approved Capital 2008, was
not approved by the required majority of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
