PDF/A was made an ISO standard for long-term archiving of digital documents in 2005 and thus represents a manufacturer-independent, reliable archive format. The Beta Systems Beta UX document processing and archival solution can handle documents from almost any source application and also supports content-based processing of PDF/A documents.

Distributing, Printing, Archiving and Searching Documents
Beta UX can capture and index document contents and use this information for further document processing. This means that PDF/A documents and additional print data formats can be individually split up on the content level, bundled with other documents, distributed through various output channels and archived in an auditable manner.
